Release notes 06.05.2025

Written by Uplead Support

Another round of behind-the-scenes upgrades is live! This week, we’ve focused on deeper data consistency, smarter syncing, and ensuring everything exports exactly how users need it. Here’s what’s new:

New Industry Tags: Med Spa & Home Services

We’ve added two industry tags to improve search precision:

  • Home Services – ~26,953 companies

  • Med Spa – ~3,868 companies

This will make niche targeting easier and more accurate across your workflows.

Connected Lists: More Control + Smarter Syncing

Connected Lists experience just got an upgrade:

  • Flexible exports: Export only selected, all contacts, or a specific number of contacts.

  • Sort by Status: Quickly find and prioritize contacts using the new sortable Status column.

New "Other" Job Function Filter

We’ve added an "Other" job function to capture roles that don’t match any of the existing sub-functions.

This ensures we don’t lose track of valuable contacts because their job sub-function doesn’t fit neatly into a predefined box.

New Export Field: CompanyAddressLine2

We’ve added CompanyAddressLine2 as a separate exportable field to improve data completeness. No UI changes—you won’t see this field in the app interface, and it doesn’t affect filters.

It’s now included in:

  • Contacts and Companies pages (when exported to CRM or Excel)

  • My Lists

  • Downloads view

  • CRM exports (from Companies pages)

  • Connected Lists (as a separately mappable field)

  • Chrome extension (CSV and CRM exports)

Improvements:

Technology Filter Search Results

Improving how search rankings work—shorter or more exact matches (e.g., "Shopify") will rank higher than broader or compound names (e.g., "Shopify Stores"). This should make finding the specific technologies you're targeting much easier and avoid missed opportunities.

Search Results boost

Boosted contacts marked as invalid should automatically lose their boosted status and be pushed lower in search results. This adjustment should occur in real time or at query time to ensure search results always reflect the most accurate, up-to-date contact quality.

Download Page Rework.

Previously, users could only download single-user lists without the ability to search, filter, or rename them, making list management cumbersome. With this update, users can now easily rename their downloaded contact lists and filter them by name, date, or download type (e.g., manual, API, integration). These enhancements make organizing, locating, and managing your contact data significantly easier. Learn more about the new functionality here.

Automatic credit allocation for more payment methods.

Credits are automatically allocated for Stripe payment methods other than card payments, eliminating the manual credit allocation requirements for customers who use this method.

The ability to return only contacts that have a mobile phone on the Prospector Preview API endpoint

We have implemented the has_mobile parameter, which can be sent using the Preview API calls to get only contacts with a mobile phone number. The API Docs will provide more information about endpoint usage.

Company Logos Data Update

We’ve enhanced our company profiles by updating logos across the platform.

997,578 companies have now received logo images, making company data more complete and visually recognizable.

Bug fix:

HubSpot CRM List Push Associates Incorrect Companies

Issue: When pushing a list to HubSpot CRM, contacts were linked to random companies from the same list rather than their correct matches.
