Importing Data from Salesforce
After connecting your Salesforce account to UpLead, you can start importing contacts from Salesforce into UpLead.
Automatic Import
Once your Salesforce connection preferences are configured, Uplead automatically imports contacts when the Activate Connected List option is enabled. You’ll receive a notification when the import process starts, and once completed, you’ll get another notification confirming successful import.
Manual Import
If you prefer more control, you can manually trigger an import by clicking the Start Import button after setting up your preferences. Notifications will be sent when the import starts and completes.
Exporting Data Back to Salesforce
You can also export your matched UpLead contacts back to Salesforce, either automatically or manually.
Manual Export
Click the Start Export button to export your matched contacts to Salesforce. Each export action costs one UpLead credit per contact.
Automatic Export
When Auto Synchronisation is enabled, contacts are automatically exported to Salesforce. Like manual export, automatic exports use one UpLead credit per contact.
Download Exported CSV
After exporting, you can download a CSV file containing the exported contacts. The file is available as a simple download link after the export is complete.
Managing Matched Contacts
After importing or exporting contacts, you can view and manage your matched contacts:
View Contact Details - Click on individual contacts to view their detailed UpLead contact page.
Access LinkedIn Profiles - Directly open the LinkedIn profile of any matched or exported contact from the list view.
Pagination and Filtering - Easily navigate large lists of contacts by using pagination and filters (e.g., filter by matched or exported status).
Notifications and Alerts
Throughout the synchronization process, you’ll receive various notifications to keep you informed:
Import Notifications:
You’ll be notified when the import process starts and when it is complete.Export Notifications:
Notifications will also inform you when the export process has completed successfully.Matching Process:
If your contacts are being processed for matching, the list will display a label stating, “Controls are disabled while your list is processing.”
