How to Integrate UpLead with HubSpot

1. Access the CRM Integration Settings

To begin the integration:

  1. Log in to your UpLead account.​

  2. Click on your profile name at the bottom left corner.​

  3. Select "Connect to my CRM".​

  4. From the list of available CRMs, choose HubSpot.​

2. Connecting via OAuth

UpLead utilizes OAuth for secure authentication with HubSpot:​

  1. After selecting HubSpot, you'll be redirected to the HubSpot login page.​

  2. Enter your HubSpot credentials and authorize UpLead to access your account.​

  3. Upon successful authentication, the integration will be established.​

Note: Ensure you have the necessary permissions in HubSpot to create, read, update, and delete contacts, companies, and leads.


Custom Field Mapping

UpLead allows you to map both standard and custom fields to HubSpot properties, ensuring data consistency across platforms.​

1. Navigating to Customization Settings

  1. In UpLead, go to Profile > Customize Integration.​

  2. Choose the appropriate tab: Contact, Company, or Lead.​

2. Adding Custom Fields

  1. Click on "+ Add field".​

  2. In the dialog box:​

    • Field Name: Enter the exact API name of the HubSpot property(How to find your Hubspot API property names).​

    • Mapping Type: Choose between:

      • Predefined: Map to existing UpLead fields.

      • Custom Value: Enter a constant value or map to a specific UpLead attribute.

Important Considerations:

  • Under specific conditions, the CRM push to HubSpot may result in the creation of duplicate company records, depending on how company matching and deduplication are handled within the HubSpot environment.

  • Always use the exact Internal name value of the HubSpot property to ensure accurate data mapping. For example Annual Revenue is annualrevenue as shown below:


Excluding Fields from Data Push

To maintain data integrity, you might want to exclude certain fields from being pushed to HubSpot.​

Configuring Field Exclusions

  1. Navigate to Profile > Customize Integration.​

  2. Select the relevant tab: Contact, Company, or Lead.​

  3. In the left sidebar, locate the "EXCLUDE FIELDS" section.​

  4. Check the boxes next to the fields you wish to exclude.​

  5. Click "Save" to apply the changes.​

Important Considerations:

  • Required Fields: Avoid excluding fields that are mandatory in HubSpot, as this can lead to integration errors.​

  • Tab-Specific Settings: Exclusions are specific to each tab; changes in one do not affect the others.
