The CRM Customization Interface
Before configuring custom fields, make sure you have connected Uplead to your CRM system. For detailed integration instructions, please refer to our CRM Integration Guide.
Uplead's CRM integration allows you to map both standard and custom fields between systems. Adding custom attributes to the Uplead push can be done through a simple configuration process in your profile settings.
The CRM Customization page has three main tabs that determine which entity type you'll configure:
Contact: For individual contact record mappings
Company: For company/account record mappings
Lead: For lead record mappings
Adding Custom Fields
To add custom attributes to your CRM integration:
Navigate to Profile - Customize Integration
Select the appropriate tab (Contact, Company, or Lead)
Click the "+ Add field" button
Configure your field in the "Create custom field" dialog box
When creating a custom field, you'll need to:
Enter the Field Name (use the API name from your CRM)
Choose either Predefined fields or Custom value for your mapping
For the field type, you have two options:
Predefined: Select from existing Uplead fields
Custom value: Map to contact/company fields from the Uplead API or enter a constant value
💡 Pro Tip: Always use the exact API field name from your CRM to ensure proper data mapping.
Field Types and Values
Uplead supports two main types of field mappings:
Predefined Fields
Map directly to standard Uplead data fields
Use existing field names and formats
Custom Values
Map to specific contact or company attributes
Set constant values to push to your CRM
Reference fields defined in the Uplead API documentation
