In accordance with data privacy laws such as GDPR, CCPA, and others, you have the right to request information about the personal data we’ve collected about you and to manage how your data is shared. This article outlines the steps to submit data removal requests and access your information.

Requesting Information About Your Personal Data

You have the right to request and receive a detailed report of the personal data UpLead has collected about you.

Step-by-Step Process:

  1. Navigate to the Opt-Out form.

  2. Fill the required information like Full Name, contact email, either phone number, email or both

  3. Select the Data Privacy Jurisdiction that you are a part of.

  4. Select “Request Information” from the dropdown in the form.

  5. Submit the request

  6. Confirm the ownership of the data by following the instructions received in either the email, SMS or both and you will receive a detailed report of your personal data held by UpLead on the contact email inserted in the contact form on step 2.

  • Common mistake: ⚠️ Not specifying the correct request type can delay processing.


Opting-Out of Data Sharing and "Sale"

You can opt-out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information on a going-forward basis by submitting a request through the webform.

Step-by-Step Process:

  1. Navigate to the Opt-Out form.

  2. Fill the required information like Full Name, contact email, either phone number, email or both

  3. Select the Data Privacy Jurisdiction that you are a part of.

  4. Select “Delete my Information” from the dropdown in the form.

  5. Submit the request

  6. Confirm the ownership of the data by following the instructions received in either the email, SMS or both and you will receive a detailed report of your personal data held by UpLead on the contact email inserted in the contact form on step 2.

Q: How long does it take to process a data removal request?

A: Requests are typically processed as soon as we receive ownership confirmation on either the email, phone number or both depending on what the remove data request was for or within 30 days for other requests, in line with applicable data privacy laws.

Q: What if my data is associated with a business entity?

A: UpLead only collects data about companies and professionals within those companies, so we take steps to remove personal information unrelated to business activities.
