Accessing the Enrich Menu
Company Enrichment with UpLead enables you to append over 50 accurate data points to your existing list of companies. This process ensures that your records are up-to-date, allowing your sales and marketing teams to engage effectively with potential clients.
To begin the company enrichment process:
Navigate to the Enrich Section:
Log in to your UpLead account.
From the dashboard, select the Enrich option.
Choose the Data Type:
Upon clicking Enrich, you'll be prompted to select between Contacts and Companies.
For enriching company details, select Companies.
Preparing and Uploading Your Company List
Before uploading your company list for enrichment:
Prepare a CSV File:
Create a CSV file containing the companies you wish to enrich.
The CSV must include at least one of the Company URL, LinkedIn URL, UpLead ID, Company Name (Note: Multiple companies may share the same name; including a URL helps ensure accurate matching.) columns.
To further refine the search and improve matching accuracy, you can include up to 3 Custom Fields with additional identification data.
Make sure that the CSV file is saved in UTF-8 format
Upload the CSV File:
In the Enrich Companies section, upload your prepared CSV file.
UpLead will utilize the provided data to accurately match and enrich your company records.
Selecting Enrichment Options
After uploading your company list:
Choose the Enrichment Type - UpLead offers two enrichment options:
Full Company Enrichment: Retrieves comprehensive details about each company, delivering the enriched data in a CSV format.
Company Names to URL Enrichment: Generates a list of URLs matching the provided company names.
Select Full Company Enrichment:
For a complete data enhancement, choose the Full Company Enrichment option.
Ensure that your CSV includes at least one of the required identifiers (Company URL, LinkedIn URL, UpLead ID, or Company Name) to facilitate accurate matching.
Initiating the Enrichment Process
To start the enrichment:
Start Enrichment:
Click on the Start Enrichment button.
UpLead will process your company list, gathering available data from its extensive database.
Monitor Progress:
Once the process begins, you can monitor its progress in the Notification panel and Downloads section.
Upon completion, you'll receive a notification, and the enriched data will be available for download.
Note: Providing both the company name and company URL may result in additional companies with similar names appearing in the enrichment results. Each successfully enriched company record will deduct 1 credit from your account.

Q: What data points can I expect from Full Company Enrichment?
A: UpLead's Full Company Enrichment can append over 50 data fields, including company name, sales volume, number of employees, industry, phone number, and social media links.
Q: What if a company cannot be matched during enrichment?
A: If a company cannot be matched in UpLead’s database, the corresponding credit will be refunded after the process is complete.
Q: Can I redownload the enriched file without using additional credits?
A: Yes, once the enrichment is complete, you can redownload the file as many times as needed without incurring additional charges.
