How Salesforce Connected Lists Billing Works

UpLead operates on a credit-based system for Salesforce Connected Lists. Each time you export or sync a contact with Salesforce, a credit is used. The number of credits used depends on the number of contacts being processed and the configuration settings you’ve selected.

  • Exporting Contacts – Every time you export a contact to Salesforce, one credit is deducted from your UpLead account. This means that for each contact exported, you will be charged one credit, regardless of whether the contact is a new match or an existing one in your database.

  • Matching Contacts – When syncing Salesforce contacts, the credits are based on the number of contacts that match your configuration preferences. Only matched contacts are exported.

  • No Double Charges – You will not be charged twice for the same contact. Once a contact is sent to Salesforce or unlocked, you won’t incur additional charges for that contact in the future, even if you sync or export it again.

  • Email Validation –Link to SF Connected lists config article – – Credits are also linked to the email validation status of the contact. A credit will only be deducted if the contact’s email status is either “Valid” or “Valid and Accept All.” If the Validation Type is set to “All Emails,” a credit will be deducted for every contact with an email or phone number, disregarding the email status.

FAQs

Q: Do I get charged for exporting a contact that was previously exported?

A: No, you won’t be charged for the same contact more than once. Once exported, the contact won’t incur an additional charge on future exports.

Q: How does email validation affect billing?

A: If the contact’s email status is Valid or Valid and Accept All, a credit will be deducted for each exported contact with an email address. If the validation type is set to All Emails, a credit will be deducted for each contact with an email or phone number, regardless of email status.

Q: Are there any additional charges beyond the credits?

A: No, the billing is entirely based on credits used for exporting and syncing contacts. There are no extra fees beyond the credits for these actions.
