What “Specific Number of Leads” means
This feature lets you control both the quantity and quality of contacts you download. Rather than exporting all search results, you can request a specific number, filtered by verification status.
When you trigger a specific-number download, you’ll be prompted to choose between:
Valid
Valid + Accept All
All Emails
Important: When you request, for example, 100 Valid contacts, the system will only include contacts that meet the Valid status. If there aren’t enough contacts with that status, you’ll receive as many as are available, but never contacts with a different status.
How to download a specific number of leads
Run your contact search using filters (industry, location, title, etc.).
Click Download → Specific Number of Leads.
Select the verification type (Valid, Valid + Accept All, or All Emails).
Enter the number of leads you want (e.g. 100).
Confirm and the system will generate your download list based on the status you selected.
How verification types affect your results
Valid: Only contacts with verified email addresses.
Valid + Accept All: First include all valid addresses; if more are needed, fill with “accept all” type addresses.
All Emails: Includes all available email addresses, regardless of verification.
Again, the system never substitutes contacts from a different status than the one you chose.
What happens when there aren’t enough contacts of the requested status
If you ask for 100 Valid contacts but only 80 contacts in your search are Valid → you’ll get 80 Valid contacts.
The system will not include contacts that are “Accept All” or unverified unless your chosen status allows it (i.e. Valid + Accept All).
This ensures that your download list strictly honors the status filter you selected.
FAQs
Q: If I “Download 100 Valid” but only 60 are valid, will the system include “Accept All” contacts?
A: No, unless you selected Valid + Accept All. If your type is strict Valid, you’ll only receive however many valid contacts are available, even if fewer than requested.
Q: Will the download list always exactly match my requested number?
A: Yes, but only if that many contacts exist with the status you selected. Otherwise, you receive the maximum matching contacts available.
Q: Can I change the status filter later?
A: Yes, but only by re-downloading with a new status selection. The original download list stays fixed.
