Excluding from previous downloads is very simple. Just run a search, then click the "Exclusions" tab located on the very bottom of the left side menu, then click "Exclude from previous downloads".

You will now see a popup that will allow you to select the list(s) that you would like to exclude. You can also select "Apply all" to apply all previously downloaded lists.
