Improved Deep Validation process!
What’s Deep Validation, really?
When we first check an email and it bounces, we don’t give up. Instead, we look at the company’s usual address style—say first.last@, f.last@, or first@. We build a handful of new addresses that fit those patterns and send each one through our verifier. If any of them pass, you get a green, deliverable contact. If they all fail, you at least know you’ve tried every reasonable option.
The snag we had before
Running Deep Validation on the same list a second time made us redo that whole guessing game from scratch. We rebuilt the exact same alternates, sent them off for another check, and—surprise—got the same “invalid” result. That burned through credits, took extra minutes, and loaded our servers without adding any fresh insight.
How we fixed it
Now, every alternate address we test gets cached with its result. The moment we see that address again, we notice the “already tested” tag and skip it. So a rerun of an old list:
finishes faster, because we only validate new guesses
costs fewer credits, because we’re not paying to re-test dead ends
keeps the servers free for new work, which speeds up everyone’s queues
